Brothers Supporting Black Businesses (BSBB) is a non-profit organization that was founded in August 2021 with the ultimate aim of promoting and supporting black-owned and operated businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

MISSION

Brothers Supporting Black Businesses is dedicated to supporting black-owned and operated businesses. By doing so, we aim to foster economic growth, equity, and long-term sustainability within the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth black business community. Additionally, we strive to provide mentorship and guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs and offer scholarships to deserving students to empower them to pursue higher education and achieve their goals.

VISION

To create a thriving and equitable society where black businesses are supported, mentorships are provided, and youth scholarships are accessible in order to foster sustainable economic growth and empower future generations.

EXECUTIVE BOARD

TYRONE "TY" MCGILL
President

Mr. Tyrone McGill is a retired USAF and Vietnam veteran. He also retired from the City of Dallas with over 40 years of management experience. Tyrone calls Dallas his hometown and he currently resides in a southern Dallas suburb. He is a husband, father and grandfather. Additionally, he is an avid golfer and loves to travel.

Mr. McGill has been a member of BSBB since its inception in August 2021 and was elected President in October 2021. He inspires to make BSBB one of the top non-profits in the USA with the help of members and the participation of the public.

REGINALD "REGGIE" HILL
Vice President

Mr. Reginald Hill is a retired manufacturer representative. He was a member of CSI & ICRI focusing on architectural and engineering project specifications and product sales through distribution. Reginald is now focused on serving as a full-time Board member for Brothers Supporting Black Businesses by assisting the organization with all duties as described by the mission statement.

ERROL SAUNDERS
First Vice President

Mr. Errol Saunders is an original member of BSBB since August 2021. He was born and raised in Boston, MA and moved to Austin, TX and then to Dallas, TX. Errol was employed by the IBM Corporation for 30 years and self-employed for 25 years. Mr. Saunders has been retired for the last 25 years.

CHARLES L. WILLIAMS
Board Advisor

Mr. Charles L. Williams is the founder of Tax2Go, LLC – a DeSoto, TX based business specializing in Income tax preparation, Bookkeeping, and IRS representation. In 2016, Charles started his nonprofit, the Entrepreneurs Scholarship Program. God placed a vision in Mr. Williams's heart to use proceeds from Tax2Go LLC and to invite other entrepreneurs to join him in providing scholarships to deserving underprivilege high school students wanting to go to college and current college students to assist them in achieving potential life goals that might otherwise be unobtainable without financial assistance. Prior to starting his own tax company and non-profit, Charles was a Manager with the United States Postal Service where he served for over 35 years. Charles is a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, Tax Professionals.com and has a BBB A plus accredited rating. He serves as treasurer for the DeSoto Area Chamber and is the former treasurer for the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce. Charles is a 2022 Leadership Southwest (LSW) Graduate and currently is a Board Member for LSW. Charles has been married for over 23 years to Rakesia and they have 5 wonderful children.

REV. JAMES CLAY
Board Advisor

Rev. James Clay is a retired AT&T Customer Service Representative, Chief Steward and Executive Board Member of the Communication Workers of America (CWA) Local 6215 in Dallas, TX.

Rev. Clay is the Pastor of New Galilee Baptist Church in Mansfield, TX. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member and Chaplain for Brothers Supporting Black Businesses as well as Board Vice President and Chaplain for the Historic West Mansfield Texas Community Development Corporation.
